3. Content Rules What’s allowed and not allowed
3.1 Allowed Content
- Posts about snooker or billiards (matches, techniques, tournaments, tips).
- Photos and videos of gameplay, equipment, personal progress.
- Coaching advice, tutorials, discussions about mechanics of the game.
- Comparisons of cues, tables, chalk, accessories.
- Local club announcements, events, or friendly match invitations.
- Humor related to the sport (in good taste).
- Personal achievements, goals, training logs.
- Discussions about rules, refereeing, strategic play.
3.2 Prohibited Content
A. Hate Speech or Discrimination
Any attacks or negative generalizations targeting nationality or ethnicity, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected trait. Even if “just a joke,” this is not allowed.
B. Harassment, Bullying, or Personal Attacks
- Insults, name-calling, or mocking someone’s skill level.
- Sending repeated unwanted messages.
- Publicly shaming others.
- Aggressive provocation or flaming.
- Attacking clubs, referees, or players in a harmful manner.
Healthy debate is fine; hostility is not.
C. Violent or Threatening Behavior
No threats of violence, physical intimidation, or encouraging harm to others.
D. Sexual or Inappropriate Content
- Sexual comments, imagery, or innuendo.
- Suggestive content involving minors (immediate ban).
- Harassing other members with romantic/sexual messages.
This is a sports platform, not a dating space.
E. Spam or Irrelevant Advertising
- Promoting unrelated products.
- Repeated self-promotion.
- Mass posting the same content.
- Attempts to harvest personal data.
Relevant business posts (cue makers, clubs, tournaments) are allowed only if respectful and non-spammy.
F. Illegal Activities
- Pirated sports broadcasts.
- Gambling or betting schemes.
- Drugs or illegal substances.
- Fraud, scams, or phishing.
G. Misinformation
Do not spread false claims, misleading information, or deceptive content—especially about tournaments, players, or results.
H. Graphic or Sensitive Content
- Gore or injury photos.
- Depictions of violence.
- Disturbing imagery.
4. Behavior Expectations
4.1 Constructive Tone
When giving criticism (technique, stance, cue action), always do so respectfully. Posts meant to “show off” knowledge by humiliating others will be removed.
4.2 No Provocation
Avoid “baiting” others into arguments or intentionally escalating situations.
4.3 Healthy Competition
Friendly rivalry is fine—hostile trash talk is not.
5. Account Responsibilities
5.1 Age Requirement
Users must meet the minimum age requirement of their region (typically 13+).
5.2 Secure Access
Do not share your account with others or impersonate someone else.
5.3 Accurate Information
Do not create accounts pretending to be professional players, referees, organizations or brands, unless you are officially representing them.
6. Content Ownership & Rights
- You retain ownership of your content.
- You grant BilliardON limited permission to display your content within the app.
- You agree not to upload content you do not have rights to (broadcasts, copyrighted events, etc.).
7. Reporting & Moderation
7.1 Reporting
Members can report posts or comments that violate these guidelines. Reports are confidential.
7.2 Moderation Actions
Depending on severity, moderators may remove content, issue warnings, temporarily suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts. This applies equally to free and paid users.
7.3 Our Right to Remove Users
To maintain a respectful, safe environment, BilliardON reserves the right to remove harmful content, restrict or disable accounts, and ban members even if they are subscribed or paying members. Your subscription does not override community rules.
8. Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision was incorrect, you may file an appeal. However, repeated violations or severe offenses may not be eligible for appeal.
